Yesterday, June 6: at 3:00 A.M. in 1944:
Allied troops risked their lives to invade the beaches of Normandy and end the Nazi's widening stranglehold on the world. slowly winning back freedom and safety for millions of people.
Today, June 7, 2008:
almost two days after the anniversary of one of the most memorable days in history and no mention has been made to the brave effort of the American, British, & Canadian forces who braved the ocean's battering, death traps, and German gunfire for a better future in a free country.
